The American Craft Spirits Association will be rolling into Nashville this week to host its annual conference. This 4th annual event is seminal for the industry and is expected to host veterans representing over 20 states and their respective trade group. Last year’s conference was hosted in Chicago, so the fact Nashville was chosen for 2017 says a lot about the city’s growth, as well as the notoriety of the distilled spirits footprint in this region.

The American Craft Spirits Association, whose mission is to “elevate and advocate for the community of craft spirits producers”, has released its schedule of events ranging in seminars from Distilling Science, to Industry Safety/Compliance, to Marketing/Finance. Many of these seminars are open only to ACSA Members and Affiliates. That said, the ACSA, a registered non-profit trade group, will kickoff the 4th annual conference with on Wednesday with an event open to the public.

The Tennessee Toast is a 21+ event that will showcase many of the industries fine spirits. Hosted at The Bell Tower, the event will go from 6-8:30PM and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Smoky Mountain wild fire victims. The Tennessee Toast
will be emceed by NY Times Best Selling author, Fred Minnic. The Tennessee Toast will certainly have a few household names present – Jack Daniel’s and George Dickel Tennessee Whiskey to name a few. But it will also showcase craft spirits offerings from around the country – High Wire out of SC, Maggie’s Farm out of PA, and a few other Tennessee originals like Nelson’s Green Brier, bottlers of Belle Meade Bourbon.

Tickets to The Tennessee Toast start at $80, with VIP tickets available at $100. This is a great week to rub elbows with distillers from around the country and an even better week to Tour the Trail! Hope to see you out there.
